Meant To Be, by P.L. Jenkins (Review)

I read an arc of this book. I liked the story, and what it is about. I didn't care for the layout. I would have liked to see it start with a tid bit about her child hood and a bit about the other things and then go into the book. It starts out with Kya in New York and doesn't really tell you anything but, she is from Texas. You slowly learn everything throughout the book. My only comment was that the story unfolded slowly and towards the end went crazy fast. This is a second chance love story with alot of drama and a lot of back and forth. It really is a good story, I know the edited version will be better. If you like second chance love stories with alot of drama and secrets you will like this book. It has a happy ending also for all of you that love happy endings. I do really like how she did the ending. The last chapter takes place in the future and tells you where everyone in the book is now. I gave it 4/5 stars. I was going back and forth between 3 and 4 stars and I think the edited version will be great...=)

Ok I thought this book was interesting. I did read an unedited arc, so i know the reading experience of the finished book will be better. The story itself is a good one. I didn't care for the layout, but it still was a good story. It is a second chance love story. If you like them you will enjoy this book. It also has alot of drama and a bit of action and some characters with sketchy pasts. The book starts and you don't really know any of the background information. You learn that bit by bit. I was really going between 3 and 4 stars. I am giving it four stars because I think the finished book will be better. The book follows Kya a girl from Texas. Slowly you learn alot about her as the rest of the story unfolds. I don't do spoilers, so just buy it if you like to read second chance love stories. One Night With Him by; K.S. Smith (Review)

This is a book I got from the author to read. What a great story. I really didn't know what it was going to be like, I knew it was going to be a love story. It was very witty and fresh. In the beginning of the book I was literally laughing out loud and some of the things the main character did. I could see people doing this and I know some of the stuff I probably have done or would do.  The book follows a young woman who is the maid of honor in her best friends wedding. She ends up having a one night stand. She finds love, and what kind of love story would it be if there wasn't some type of drama. It deals with something people every day deal with. It really is something that could happen. It was a very up lifting story and I really liked it. I gave this 5/5 stars because I just thought it was so well written and really kept my interest. If you like love stories that have a twist in the middle but you still get your happy ending this is the book for you. The people in the book are people that you can relate to or literally meet every day. It was a nice change of pace, I read from every genre so this was a little different from what I have read recently. Sorry no spoilers!! I can tell you she leaves some of the information, or background information about the characters until the very end. So it was nice to not know everything about them until the end.

Wow this story is very witty and fresh. It is a love story. It starts as a girl who is a maid of honor in her best friends wedding. She has a one night stand and it goes from there. I really enjoyed the story. The only thing I didn't like which still didn't make a difference is how the guy in the story talked. There are guys out there that really do talk like that all the time.. =) If you like love stories with drama and a happy ending you will like this story. She leaves little tid bits about the characters to the very end, this way you really don't fully know them until the book ends. Really good job!!

The Hunted One (End of Days book 1) By Meg Collet (Review)

I received a copy from the author. I wasn't sure what the book was going to be like. I usually don't read about the book until I read it. Well let me tell you, it was an outstanding book. It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The whole time I was trying to guess what was going to happen next. The story turns a subject (angels and demons and everything in between) into something that you wouldn't even think of. It was very well written and has a little bit of everything to offer you. You have romance, drama, action, mystery. It is everything all bundled into on great little package. What else can you ask for? On another note, I couldn't see the cover until I checked it on goodreads, for some reason my kindle wasn't working right. I absolutely love the cover. I would have purchased the book based on the cover. It really catches your eye and will make you want to know what the book is about. This is a the first book in a series and I really cannot wait for the next one... Man I hate waiting... Anyways, below you will find the link to my goodreads review.  I gave 5/5 stars. Wow what was a great book... Amazing book.... This book is about angels and demons and eveything in between. The book follows an angel named Michaela. She is an archangel and she is set up for doing something bad. The whole book focuses on her trying to clear her name and allow all of the archangels to go back home (heaven). There is a ton of action and drama and love as well as falling out of love. I don't do spoilers but it really was a great book and I would recommend to the fullest. The author did a great job as turning aspects of religion or things we all have once talked about into a great book.  Who ever told her she couldn't possibly write a story about angels was wrong!!

The Devil's Playground By, Cynthia Sens Review

So I won the book on Goodreads. I loved the cover which is why I entered in the first place. I didn't really know what to expect, but I loved it. I gave it 5/5 stars. It was very interesting and is based on a conspiracy theory about medical clinic and other fishy things in our country. The story follows a man that keeps referring himself as almost 100 but really in his 40's. It doesn't makes sense now but, when you read it you will understand. There is a ton of action and fighting. The main guy is trying to find a missing child that has been missing for over a year. The plot twist and turns and will keep you guessing and wanting more. Anyways I would recommend to anyone that loves thrillers and action. It is definitely worth the read. This is the first in a series and I can't wait to read the next one.

What a good story. It will keep you guessing until the end. It is a story that follows a guy who keeps saying he is almost 100 years old. There is a ton of action in this book. He goes into a conspiracy theory about different medical clinics. I would recommend this to someone that likes series and likes to keep guessing and loves action.

"A Shade of Vampire" by Bella Forest Review

So I just finished reading this book a few days ago. I have been swamped and am just now reviewing it. This was an interesting little book. It seemed short to me, but I don't know if it was just me. =) It basically is preparing you for the next two books to follow. It is the introduction into the story to follow. It explains how these vampires live on an island and kidnap people to be their slaves and basically work for them. There is a lot of drama and fighting and stuff like that. The story follows one of the girls who was kidnapped. So it is a love story/ war story. The next books and going to go into the war between the vampires and the hunters. All I can say is it is going to get crazy. I gave this story 4/5 stars. It entertained me and makes me want to read the others. I didn't give it 5 stars because it just didn't leave me in awe. I would recommend it to anyone that likes vampire stories.

This is the first out of 3. This book is totally setting up for the others. It was different, and kept me interested. It is about a vampire island and they kidnap people to be their slaves. Well one of the captives and the kidnapped girl fall in love. There is a lot of fighting and craziness. This story was a little short, but I think that is because it is preparing for the next part of the story. It is left in a cliff hanger where you are wondering what is going to happen next. You have a feeling that the next story is going to get crazy. The story follows one of the girls that is kidnapped. I don't do spoilers so I will just tell you there is alot of drama and is setting up for the next book which will be part of the war between hunters and vampires. If you like vampire stories, you will enjoy this one. I can't wait for the next one!

"Defy" By Sara B. Larson; Review

This book is many things wrapped into one thing. It was really well written and will keep you on the edge of your seat. It is a book that will make you feel for the main character.  It will keep you guessing the entire time. It is set where kings rule the land. It also features magic and sorcerers. It was a really good read and fully entertained me. This book will want to make you jump into the story to help the main character out. I gave it 5/5 stars.

The story was a really well put together story. It has lots of action and lots of danger. The story follows a girl who witnesses her parents get killed by a sorcerer when she is about 13 or 14. All that is left is her and her  twin brother. Instead of getting taken away by an army they cut off her hair and have her pretend to be a boy so she doesn't get put into the house of girls. At this house men take advantage of women and rape them to grow their army. She is now 17 and in charge of protecting the prince. That is when the crazy kicks in. There are many secrets and twists and turns. I will not give away any spoilers. I will say it is an action packed and is a love story built in one. I will tell you it is not a happily ever after. It is a great ending though. It will make you wonder when the second book will be written and what is going to happen in that one. This story is full of magic, heroism, kings, princes and sorcerers. It was a very interesting read and I kept wanting to read more. If you are into action or love stories or ones with twist and turns that keeps you guessing this is the story for you.<br>
